Musings on Vanic Paganism (and lifestyle in general) from a girl to girl feminist nerd

Recently, through the Steam summertime sales, i ran across the adventure “Magical record” a-game I’d never heard of from a developer I’d never heard of (Hanako video games), I check the overview, grabbed info about their web page on television Tropes, and chose “the particular Hel, it is just $10. I’ll give it a shot.”

I’m grateful We accepted the danger.

Sure, actually a blatant bump from Harry Potter, the game play happens to be basic (part dating sim/school sim, component journey games), it is most content serious, together with the cutesy anime visuals risk turning a lot of people off, but this video game is definitely wonderful, severely. List another event that may simply fix design like colonialism and rude commitments, but provides you with same-sex interaction (in the middle of your dynamics and another person or between different characters) and in some cases a sex ed course where your own teacher describes types and businesses which happen to be non-binary gender? (Regrettably, no such people can be found in this video game.)

Severely, go decide this video game up, it’s fifteen dollars on vapor nowadays, or, if you’re undecided you’ll as it, sample the trial.

This quick connect for “Magical log” is meant to get a segue into speaking about some sort of sport that doesn’t create lots of exposure away from Japan: dating sims. The aim of a going out with sim means your primary characteristics (usually a woman) in order to create passionate commitments with one of the conceivable adore needs (usually all kids, however often). At this juncture i’m I should emphasize about the kind of internet dating sim I’m talking about is usually branded “otome” and sold to a girl viewers (otome activity typically dont incorporate explicit sexual information the manner in which ecchi activities does).
